My Experience on Praying the 2000 Hail Marys

Note:  The italicized text below is part of the letter that I sent to a group of women seeking a closer relationship with God.

Happy Easter everyone! Christ is risen! I would just like to share with you my experiences with the 2000 Hail Marys that were prayed in my house last March 25, the feast of the Annunciation.  Sorry for the late sharing.  Thank you to all who prayed with us that day and sent intentions. They were all included.

We started praying at around 8:30 am. We said the whole rosary. So a whole rosary consisted of 50 Hail Marys. ( We were able to finish 32 rosaries as a group.) I would just share with you the highlights of the day. I saw women, who stayed seated almost the whole time (6 hours or more) and knelt down (even if it was difficult for them to do that). Some cried while praying. I felt that no one would stay that long ( at least 4 hours of continued praying) unless they found joy and peace in saying the Hail Mary and found delight in our Mother. It was truly a heartfelt experience.
The message that I got from God through my heart was that ALL prayers would be answered. I even asked, “ALL God?” He answered, “All.” Of course, some might experience an immediate response while others might take longer. When the organizer (Aida Gamolo) asked me and a friend to hold the hands of Our Lady of Manhattan, I felt her hand to be “like human.” It was like a “sturdy, working hand” like mine who would till the soil and/or do the dishes.  I wasn’t sure what to make of it. I was thinking, probably it was just me because she was a big statue, about three feet tall. Then the lady, who was holding the other hand said, “The Blessed Mother is real. I felt her hand move.” That was my confirmation that I wasn’t alone or that I wasn’t just imagining things. We stopped at around 4:30 pm but everyone who attended had to say at least a mystery of the rosary (I had to pray 2 mysteries) at home so we can finish the 2000 Hail Marys. Everyone went home feeling happy and blessed.
Two days later, on March 27, Friday,  I felt restless.  At around midnight, I felt that I wanted to send two pictures of the event on my archaic cellphone to my gmail.  The last time the transmission worked successfully was in July 2014. I tried five times sending text only and photos. I even tried to send an email through my husband’s phone. I called my cellphone provider at around 1:00 am to see what they could do. T Mobile could not fix it either. The customer service rep said I should call google during office hours to see what they could do. During this time, I kept on checking my gmail if any email went through. None. At around 3:00 am, I checked my gmail and I saw that one picture went through. The picture was that of Our Lady of Manhattan. It went through at 12:33 am. I looked at the numbers—33.  This reminded me of the Holy Trinity: The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.  Could this be a reminder of God’s unfailing presence and of God’s intervention? What happened to the other four messages that I sent? How come they never went through and this one, the one with the picture of Our Lady of Manhattan successfully made it to my gmail? I leave the answer up to you, my dear readers.

Have a Happy Easter! May the risen Christ give you joy and courage each day and may the Blessed Mother be a beacon of light in your hearts and lead you to a closer relationship with Jesus Christ.
In the Holy Trinity and our Blessed Mother,
Sherr

Kumsta na Sherr… What a surprise to have found a card from you while going through a box of special items I’ve kept through the years. I am so happy the Lord has blessed you with a wonderful life and family.I have been through a lot since we met, but it was only God roasting me over his fire, preparing me to be the perfect husband to a wonderful woman… I was reading an article you sent in the card that you authored as well. You’re a gifted writer… Maybe we’ll have a chance one day to say hello and share our families with one another. Love to all, from all… Yours truly, Avi. Now living in Riverview Florida.
